While Congressional Records do not fall under the definition of “Public Records” they are in fact records open to the public. I’ll post later on the differences between “Public Records”, “Congressional Records” and “Judicial/Court Records” and what laws support the publics right to know.

Congressional Research Service is a “think-tank” for Congress to the tune of over $100,000,000.00 yes thats right (One-hundred million tax-payer dollars) per year. Their reports are designed for Members of Congress on a variety of topics. One recent report: “Salaries of Members of Congress: A List of Payable Rates and Effective Dates, 1789-2008″ will show you just how much your representative mouthpiece is making.
