I don't think the police necessarily did what was right but hey they didn't kill anyone. And at the end of the day I believe they were justified. They put a murderer behind bars where he deserves. Pleading the fifth is an excuse for criminals who want to get away with murder. Its kind of sad your basically helping criminals get away with whatever crime they committed with advising them to not answer any questions. If your innocent what's the harm in answering the police questions? What's there to hide? And if certain individuals feel as if the cops might twist their words or accidentally incriminate themselves. thats what a lawyer is for.
