Jayci Yaeger, December 23, 1997 – March 28, 2008

Continue your calls, letters, emails so Jason can attend Jayci’s Funeral

Jayci Yaeger & Jason Yaeger

I just learned that Jayci Yaeger’s battle against cancer is over. She died either last night or early this morning sometime just before 2:00a.m. this morning. I have not received word from her family yet. I want to thank all those of you who helped get Jayci’s dying wish granted. 20 minutes was not much time, but she fought hard to wait for her daddy. I’m at a loss for words right now, so please if you have kids, take an extra minute today to hug and kiss them, let them know you love them, because you don’t know if they’ll be here tomorrow. jayci Sweetheart we tried God only knows the support you have had.
You have touched thousands of hearts baby and a lot of people have put there lives on hold watching over you and praying for you and for your dad to be beside your bed. We are so sorry he wasn’t there longer but he was there for a few minutes. Alls I can say baby is you won’t hurt anymore and Gods Angels will be watching over you for ever when your ready. And yes one day your dad will be with you. So many have learned to love you in such a short time, but that was our gift from you. Thank you for letting us share that short memory with you. By now kido and you take care. Gypsyskys Canton Texas
I’m sorry about pasting these but I can’t write another message about this child right now. I left the long one before I went to bed and the other one when I got up on her care page..

I was really moved by Jayci’s story and wrote an email to the Warden. I feel our collective efforts did pay off in the end and I am happy that she was able to see her father a last time. Thank you everyone who got in touch with the warden and thank you Public records guy. May you rest in peace, little baby.
