So, I’ve been a little busy digging into the personal life of a political figure in San Joaquin County. Public Records provide a plethra of information and specifically divorce files. I see now why Ron Burkle wanted legislation to seal the records. They have child custody issues, money issues, restraining orders.
Since this is a new venture I’m doing it unpaid so the time and records are somewhat slim pickens. It’s truly amazing what can be found through public records. I’ll publish more after the BERNIE WARDS SENTENCING tomorrow.

Bernie Ward is to be sentenced on August 28, 2008 by Judge Walker. The United States in their Sentencing Memo are seeking a 9 year imprisonment term. Bernie Ward is hoping for 5 years. Actually he’s probably hoping he got away with it, but if you read the DOJ Sentencing Memo and Ward’s Sentencing Memo you’ll see the facts underlying each sides position.

Yet another client of Mark Geragos is off to prison. You may remember the tiger attack last Christmas that killed one man and two brothers were mauled. One of the brothers is off to prison for violating probation. Read more on SFGate or here.
