This Week’s RoundUp
I found a couple great sites for your to familiarize yourself with.

BRB Publications is an incredible wealth of information. While their website is a little too toned down for my liking, the content is quality. You might remember I mentioned previously that BRB had a new resourceful book coming out called The Public Record Research TIPS BOOK. I’m currently reading that very book and I expect to provide a review for my readers in the coming weeks.
BRB Publications is not just a Legal and Investigative Bookstore, but rather a Gateway to resources galore. Plus they have a blog, and you know I like blogs. If you like them, give them a Stumble or Digg.
Straight from their website:
BRB Publications, Inc is the nation’s premier publisher of sourcebooks used for locating public records. BRB’s books and electronic products point the way to over 26,000 government agencies and 3,500 record vendors that maintain, search for or retrieve public records. More than a directory, the profiles in their products include access procedures & restrictions fees, turn around times, web addresses along with phone numbers and addresses. The books, CD and Internet products are up-to-date, comprehensive and affordable. BRB Publications is a past recipient of the Publisher of the Year award from by Quality Books and is a past winner of a Product Achievement Award from the Information Industry Association.

State Sunshine and Open Records is a blog published by Leslie Graves. They are associated with the WikiFoia. This blog is devoted to the complete dissemination of public records. They support open access laws for agency records, court records and legislative records. You will find articles for varying news worthy issues and cases dealing with public access. You definitely want to subscribe to their feed to stay up-to-date with what’s going on around the country. If you like them, give them a Stumble or Digg.
