Did you know that YOU could have purchased a seat in the U.S. Senate? No this is not some charity fund raiser or anything like that. It’s just Illinois politics as usual. Gov. Rod Blagojevich is just itching to be closer to disgraced Gov. George Ryan.
According to the FBI’s affidavit Barack Obama’s vacant seat was for sale. The Tribune has great coverage since they too are victims of Blagojevich’s conduct. They were improperly denied State funding because Blagojevich didn’t like two of the editors or reporters.
